Motocadia provide new BMW bikes with the following choice
- R1200GS – What can we say about one of the best all round bikes ever. This bike will be 100% ideal for Portugal, single or dual riding, a great pleasure.
- R1200GS - Adventure – The bigger brother to this legendry model range.
- R1200RT – The classic fully faired BMW touring machine, with colour matched side cases.
- F650GS – new 800cc road bike, excellent for single touring, fine with two, great versatile bike on the twisty Portuguese roads.

Insurance:
- Minimum riders age is 28 years, min pillion age is 16.
- Riders must have held a licence for a minimum period of 3 years
- A copy of your passport and the right driving licence or permit allowing you to ride in Portugal will be required, and is your responsibility to clarify.
- Licenses form all EU countries are vlaid, as are licences from the USA, all other nationals please check with you local driving association who will be able to advise you.
- Speeding convictions are acceptable – other motoring offences are not.
- A major credit card will be required for the security deposit.
- Motorcycle insurance is full risk, please see attached terms and conditions for the bike, along with the security deposit / insurance excess / deductible in case of accident. The sums listed here are the worst case scenarios to you, if the damage was for instance 500 euro, you would pay this and no more, these amounts are the maximum you would pay.
Travel and medical insurance
A copy of all clients’ medical insurance will be required by Motocadia prior to arrival, you can not go on a tour with out medical insurance that specifically allows you to ride a motorcycle – please check this carefully with the insurance firm prior to purchase.
If traveling from the UK please also bring your completed E111 form from your local UK post office – this will assist in case of an emergency.
If copies of passports, and driving permits are not received by Motocadia prior to the holiday and the originals of these documents are not presented to us upon arrival, Motocadia will refuse rental and the full cost of the tour will still be payable.
